Red Mile Track

Red Mile Track is home to live racing, Instant Racing®, simulcast racing, and gaming seven days a week and year-round. The historical track was founded in 1875 and is the world’s second-oldest harness racing track and Lexington’s oldest horse racing track.

Red Mile Track is named after its red clay one-mile track and hosts a racing season from July to October. There are several levels of meets, from young two-year-old trotters in the Kindergarten series to the big show at the Grand Circuit at the end of the season. Outside of the live racing season, Red Mile offers racing and wagering on its electronic games through Instant Racing®. Visitors can also participate in simulcast wagering each day of the week from various tracks including Meadowlands, Saratoga, Churchill Downs, Lone Star Park, and more.

The center also offers Red Mile Rewards, a players’ card, where players earn points that can go toward offers and exclusive rewards. Players must be 21 years of age and have a valid photo ID to enroll.

Red Mile also hosts live entertainment with exciting performances each month in either the Grand Atrium or at Center Bar.
