Me and my girlfriend decided to sneak away for a day and settled on bluegrass extended stay. The lady working the counter was nice and friendly. we didn’t have to drive far for food or booze. We had a great time and loved the room. Perfect little hotel and the price was great. Also there is a framed picture of Chewbacca in the office! This is the best hotel.

My 9 yr old daughter and I came to visit my son who is attending UK for the weekend. I am a single parent and finding the best value for my money is very important to me. The Hotel was easy to find. When you drive up to the front it is very clean and neat in appearance. The desk clerk who greeted me was extremely nice and helpful. The room we received was very clean. I was impressed by the room for the money that I spent. It had 2 double beds, a nice 36" flat screeen TV, a full size refrigerator, a microwave, a little table and chairs and the bathroom was clean and nice. It was fairly quiet since we were there on a Friday and Saturday night. When I checked out there was a different desk clerk who was just as nice as the one who checked me in. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. I plan to stay here again when I come to visit my son again. You won't be disappointed.

This hotel was great. The staff was wonderful. Surrounded by restaurants. Rite-Aide across the street -- great for stocking up on munchies, etc.. This hotel was not just the closest hotel to my daughter's house, and conveniently located to everyplace we needed to go, but it had WIFI, which others didn't. It had a large fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. Parking right in front of our room, and to top it off, it was 30-50 % less a night than the other hotels in the area. We will definitely stay here the next time we visit.
"Wonderful Experience"

I have a son who is autistic, so staying in a hotel is not always a walk in the park. But the Bluegrass Extended Stay Hotel made it enjoyable and easy. We had a two room Jacuzzi suite reserved. Check in was quick and smooth. The room was very clean, comfortable, and roomy, and the price was more than reasonable. One room contained a couch, chair, coffee table and end tables, flat screen tv, fridge, cabinets, and microwave. The second room contained two full-size beds, table and chairs, dresser, TV, mirrors, sink, and hair dryer. One bathroom was regular; commode and tub, and the other had been converted and had a large Jacuzzi tub and sink. The night and day staff were both friendly. When we decided to stay an extra night, they were very helpful and we got the same room with no problem. When we requested extra towels they were delivered quickly. The Bluegrass Ext. St. Hotel is located directly off Richmond Road, so it is convenient to everything. I was able to go back and forth to U.K., in downtown Lexington, in less than 10 minutes. A Starbucks is right in front, with several restaurants near, including China Buffet, and Gabriel Brothers is just down the road. Overall it was a great experience and will be where we stay when in Lexington Ky. from now on!!
Peaceful, roomy, and a bit like home. A GEM!!!

The Bluegrass Extended Stay gets 5 stars plus as far as we are concerned! We had a need to stay in Lexington for medical care and chose this hotel for its price. We thought it sounded too good to be true but it was absolutely the most pleasant stay we have ever had in any hotel in any city. We were thrilled by the peace and quiet. We never heard anything due to the brick structure and construction. The beds are so comfortable with soft and puffy pillows that smell so nice. The room was much larger then most hotel rooms and included a kitchen area with microwave, large regular refrigerator, coffee maker, lots of cabinets for storing things. We also had a huge picture window which allowed plenty of sunshine and a rather pleasant view of glorious trees and a huge Kentucky sky. We had a first floor but they have second floor rooms with nice views and a pleasant balcony. Speaking of the first floor, we could not hear anything above it is so well insulated. The hotel is close to hundreds of restaurants, a movie theatre within walking distance, the library, and Lexington downtown which is only about 5 miles or less down the road. The Hamburger Mall is only a few miles down the road and that is one of the nicest malls in the country. Everything you need. Sidewalks surround the hotel so you can walk the pretty side roads where you see flowers and lots of birds and trees. The staff is absolutely fantastic! We have been to so many places where staff was not particularly helpful. Well, the owner expects his guests to be treated like his guests and the staff just bends over backwards. I just cannot say enough good about this hidden little gem. A 5 star hotel at 2 star prices!!!

I just got a job in Lexington and needed a place to stay for a few weeks while apartment searching in the area. I mainly chose this hotel because of the good price. I was pleasantly surprised by my wonderful stay here! The room was of decent size and the large king bed was comfortable. It also had free wi-fi that was super fast and stable (hard to find these days in a hotel!) and a full sized fridge. The room was very clean and the linens smelled fresh. The shower was also pretty clean (something I'm really particular about). Overall, the regular cleaning service was great too. In fact, all the staff here that I've come across are wonderful! Staff members were prompt in bringing fresh towels when requested, and the lady at the front desk was as sweet as can be. I looked forward to chatting with her every time I went to the lobby to gather my mail or for a fresh cup of coffee. It was easy to come and go as I pleased, and the place truly felt like home for the three weeks that I stayed.

This place is great! I I stayed here for a couple weeks back in May while I was in-between places and had nowhere else to stay. It was very affordable and well worth the price. My room had a full sized fridge, which was great because I didn't want to throw out everything from my old fridge. It had free Wi-Fi in the room too, which was also wonderful. Overall the room was pretty nice. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The staff was wonderful; I had no problems at the front desk and was treated well whenever I needed help. The place stays pretty quiet, which is helpful when getting a good night's sleep. Best of all is the location-- the place is surrounded by everything you need. On the same street there are grocery stores, fast food, restaurants, and even some good shopping. I'd definitely recommend that you stay here, it's everything you need at an affordable price.

I travel frequently and like to try out different hotels in the areas I stay in. I came across Bluegrass Extended Stay online and figured I would give it a shot for my next stay, though I was skeptical with the low price that I paid. I am glad that I did, as the hotel was better than I expected. It was in in a very convenient area that was surrounded by restaurants and even had a Starbucks right in front of it! Check-in was a breeze and the lady at the front desk was extremely friendly and went out of her way to get me into a room right away even though I arrived a few hours before the check-in time. The room had been recently updated and was very clean. The beds were very comfortable and the large fridge was great to have. The free wireless internet was super fast and really helped me finish my work quickly. I really enjoyed my 3 nights at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and affordable place to stay in Lexington.
"Tidy, affordable, great location"

The hotel is in a super-convenient location, I was able to walk or take a very short drive to nearby restaurants and shops. It's in the same parking lot as Starbucks, so you can walk right over. There's a Chili's practically next door, its a few minutes from downtown and the University of Kentucky, where I had to be for business. I feel like I really experienced Lexington because I was in the heart of it while staying at Bluegrass. There was a clean full-size fridge in the room (great for sticking my leftovers in from the nearby restaurants), the staff was really pleasant and friendly with me - kind of like the good ol' Kentucky charm I've heard about. Overall a very nice experience, I definitely got lots of bang for my buck. Would recommend to anyone making a trip to Lexington!
