Over five generations of visitors to Lexington and Georgetown have enjoyed the fruits of Evans Orchard and Cider Mill. Spanning more than 150 acres, this working farm is also open for family-friendly entertainment from early May through October. Pick fruits and vegetables fresh from the tree, try a glass of apple cider, and have fun on the farm’s play area and barnyard!
A corn maze, hay castle, and tires to climb are just a few of the kids’ activities located on-site at the farm. Relax at a picnic table while they play before heading to the petting zoo to see potbelly pigs, calves, bunnies, and other farm animals! After a day spent outdoors, lunch at the Sweet Apple Café and Bakery is sure to hit the spot. Featured on the menu are hot dogs, burgers, and the Evans Signature Pulled Pork Sandwich—cooked with the orchard’s apples. Be sure to check out the gift store too for more treats and unique items.
As if all this wasn’t enough, Evans Apple Orchard also hosts several events throughout the year, including their own Sweet Corn Festival and Apple Festival. These are chances to join in contests, browse special craft booths, and even go for a pony ride.
